Miyavi "Graduating" from the PS COMPANY . This is Miyavi's Massage to his fans :
Dear my fans all over the world.
To all the Co-Miyavi
First of all, Happy valentine's day !!
Thanks for your continual love and support.
Today I bring a kinda bitter announcement.
I have decided that after the April 5th live at Hibiya Yagai Dai Ongakdou
I will have a “Public Graduation” as I strike out on my own, leaving the PS Company
which I've been affiliated with for the past 10 years, after they took me in as a fledgling.
After the show at Budokan on January 3rd,
I faced the outstretched horizon of the Okinawan sea and sky for the first time in many years
This is once in a life-time, I decided to look hard at my future, 10 or 20 years from now
I thought and I thought, of myself, as an artist,
and about my fans who support me and the people I must face,
I'd think and think, then get tired and sleep, and wake up and think and think,
I'd take a quick shower and think and think,
I'd get hungry and eat a light meal, and then think and think,
I'd take a walk on the beach and think and think and think some more,
Then I found myself crying one morning.
So I was watching the sun rise slowly over the ocean
when without thinking, I started to cry all of a sudden.
They weren't sad tears, or happy tears.
I was just crying.
Then I came to a decision.
It's not a sad thing, or a happy thing.
I was just making a decision for my bright future.
Or at least, that's what I believe.
As for the details of the decision making process,
I'll talk about it with the media when I get the chance
One of the big reasons is; the company established and held a successful 10 year anniversary performance,
I played the part of an official representative on behalf of the bands,
and we made it into the 11th year without a problem.
Of course I'll intend to keep on singing "Peace & Smile" as usual.
President Ms. Ozaki was surprised when we talked, but after a great deal of thought, she understood,
I wish to express my greatest gratitude to President Ozaki, who kindly pushed my back,
and to the staff who were my hands and feet at times, working up sweat and tears,
I really really thank you very much.
I'll go on, knowing that no matter which path I choose, there will be thorns.
So I'll just live my life in a way so that in 10 or 20 years, I won't have any regrets when I look back.
Hope we'll be able to have sweet sweet dreams instead of chocolates
that makes cavities in our teeth.
I hope everyone has SWEET dreams.
